何宣霓 Xuanni He, also known as Space, is a Chinese experimental musician as well as a violinist currently based in London.

She has been active in the Canton experimental music scene since 2013. In the early stages of her musical journey, she explored free improvisation through violin play and also delved into creating harsh noise using hardware equipments.

In 2017, she transitioned to using samplers and drum machines in her performances as a member of a group named ‘Sai Kung Dogs’ whose music is characterized by a fusion of improvisation, theatrical elements, industrial dance beats, and psychedelic noise.

She also organized events at the 'Bon voyage' venue, which became a hub for Guangzhou's underground experimental musicians. This scene hosted regular local performances and significant shows that drew experimental musicians from all over China.

In 2022, she co-founded the group ‘Guangzhou Bitch’ focusing on composing and producing dance music, alongside her experimental ventures.

She is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Composition in the Electronic&Produce Music department at Guildhall School of Music& Drama.
